SRTU Events & Outings

Attending and participating in our member meetings, events and outings are, by far, the greatest benefit of being a SRTU member or friend of the Chapter.  Several meetings, events and outings are planned each year.

Our monthly meetings are on the second Tuesday of the each month, except for July and August.  These meetings are held at the Bethel United Methodist Church in the Forest Acres area of Columbia, SC.  Our September meeting is our annual picnic, held in Columbia at Saluda Shoals Park.

We host a spring banquet in Columbia, typically in April.  This is our primary fundraising event of the year to help the Chapter and its endeavors of protecting and restoring our cold water fisheries.

We also have a few conservation projects each year including clean up days on the Saluda Riverwalk in the spring and fall.

Our fishing outings consist of several overnight and day trips throughout the year.  These are sponsored Trout Unlimited outings and are conducted by seasoned anglers dedicated to helping members and guests, no matter the skill level, to have a fun, safe and rewarding experience.
